Obituary of Robert Britton

Passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2020 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Louise Britton. Loving father of Michael (Suzanne). He will be sadly missed by his brother Doug (the late Aggie), as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Thea Britton, as well as his siblings Louis, Elizabeth (Charlie), Marie (Bud), Jack and Shirley (Frank). Robert retired from the Canadian Armed Forces as a Major, after 32 years of service. He then served as editor of the Safety Digest for 13 years. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 174 Wilbrod Ave., Ottawa on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 12 p.m., followed by interment at Hope Cemetery.
