Dear Tracey, Connor, and Liana We are deeply sorry to hear that the world has lost another great man. Although I only met him a few times, I will always remember how well he treated Reghan, like one of the family. Reghan always commented how caring he was towards others. He even sent her a sweet private 'Good Luck' email when she left for university. His words were; "I just wanted to wish you all the best with your studies and new adventure in Alabama. We will certainly miss your smiling face and positive outlook.Good luck and go Blazers!" I find this a true testament to how sweet and thoughtful he was as a person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. The Lynchs

Tracey, Connor and Liana, I want to offer my sincere condolences on the loss of Brent. I worked with him on several files at Nav Canada as the company lawyer. I always appreciated his professionalism, knowledge, unfailing good humour and kindness. He was a shining example of how to carry out the difficult job of being a labour relations manager and unfailingly treated those with whom he worked with respect and kindness. He was universally admired by his colleagues, union representatives, arbitrators before whom he appeared and the lawyers with whom he worked. I cannot imagine the grief you must be experiencing but hope that it will help a bit to know how much admired Brent was by the many people whose lives he touched.

I am very saddened to hear of Brent's passing. My family grew up a few doors down from the Clarys on Neebig in Manitouwadge. Brent would often be one of the only boys at my birthday parties in our younger days ... he would come dressed in a crisp white shirt and a bow tie. Such a cutie, even back then. It was a treat to meet up again with Brent at the M'wadge reunion in 2004 and to catch each other up on our lives. He was so proud of his family. My condolesces to his family and friends.

Tracey, Connor and Liana - my deepest condolences for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Brent over the last 15 years in Human Resources at NAV CANADA. He was not only excellent at his job and led by example, but he was more importantly a great colleague in that you could count on him to; be a good "sounding board" for ideas, be thoughtful in his approach, make you laugh with his chuckling laughter, be a solid golf partner at tournaments and enjoy a good beer or two with you to unwind or celebrate a great achievement. I have had the pleasure of working with Brent at NAV Canada over the years and words cannot describe how much he will be missed, not only by his LR Coworkers, but also by the representatives and members of the unions that he worked so hard for. Brent was what I like to call "a clear thinker". He knew compromise and he knew how to get the best solution that would be in everyones best interest. As a union leader, I admired the respect and friendship he shared with his coworkers at NAV Canada. A number of years ago we played our first round of golf together and that is where I got to know him better on a personal level. He told about Tracey, Connor and Liana and he beamed with pride as he did. Being a husband and a father was brought Brent the greatest joy in life. True to his wishes, Brent will be remembered as a great man by all the people who's lives he touched. On behalf of our entire membership, my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to all of Brent's family at this difficult time. Peter Duffey, President, Canadian Air Traffic Control Association

THE LIFE WE LIVE IS THE LEGACY WE LEAVE. LIVE WITH KINDNESS......and I like to think that Brent's middle name was Kindness. I remember the first time we met. It was after the NAV CANADA Charity Golf Tournament a few years back. We were ending the day at the Oak drinking beer. Yes, Brent liked beer. We talked about Executive Golf and I hooked him up to get a membership, and so began a wonderful friendship. Throughout his illness, I kept in touch through email and was happily surprised when I saw him the following year at the tournament. He waved at me with that smile and I thought, who is that? My next thought was .... OMG that is Brent!!!! I will always remember our talks about our golf game and how horrible we played last. But most of all, I will remember his smile. I miss you already Brent. Tracey, Connor and Liana, please accept my heartfelt condolences. May you find solace in knowing how deeply Brent touched everyone's lives and how loved he was by all who knew him.

When we met in June, a couple of months back, walked around Carleton University campus, went out together, it brought back all the great memories of those years and of who you were.
