I am so sorry to hear about Lorraine's passing. She was a lovely, kind and generous person, and it was a pleasure to get to know her back in my Kemptville koyote days. My condolences to Serge and your extended family, you are in my thoughts.

I am sorry to hear the news of Lorraine’s death. I worked with her from 2003 to 2006 at Statistics Canada and remember her fondly. We shared an office wall and would often chat on break. She helped me learn the ways of Census mapping and she was extremely thoughtful by contacting me a few times when I was off raising my children. The notes from her often arrived in my inbox when I needed to hear from someone the most.
