Camille Boivin

Obituary of Camille Adèle Boivin

Surrounded by loved ones, Camille passed away on November 18th 2020 at the age of 60. Camille was born in Ottawa, Ontario to Réginald and Cécile Boivin on October 10th 1960. Beloved partner to John Sweetnam. Proud mother of Jean-Paul (Marlene) and grandmother of her furry friend, Maya. Cherished sister to Andrée (Bob), Chantale (Peter), Francine (Larry), and Jean-Roch. Adored aunt to Linda (Rob), Alan, Michael (Alexandra), Eric (Jake), and Eric (Coryanne). Loved dearly by Jordan (Brandye), Mike (Monica), Amadea (Daniel), Andrew (Kim), Dorise, Brittanie, and the whole Sweetnam family. Camille’s story is one of courage, of growth, and of benevolence. Her spirit was warm, gentle, and selfless. She was a woman of great faith and illimitable curiosity. She was fiercely dedicated to living life in purpose, and leaving this world in a better place than she found it. She loved to travel and explore the world’s beauty, and in turn, she brought beauty to the world so graciously in her life. “A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself” - Maya Angelou Funeral service will be held at Heritage Funeral Homes on November 29th 2020 for the immediate family. Due to Covid-related restrictions, a livestream will be made available to remotely attend. An outdoor service will also be planned for the Spring of 2021. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of meaning to you would be appreciated. Donations may also be made to St-Paul’s United Church (http://www.stpauls-dunrobin.ca/donate/), a community Camille was part of and held dear to her heart. Most importantly, we hope that her memory will be honoured through acts of kindness and love. A message from Camille: "To my sisters & brothers. Reclaiming our humanity as sisters and brothers of the community of Earth Angels, I chose from an early age to go back to the eternal connection of Divine Love. Our Yearning to be back to Source is only an illusion as we are always connected, never separate". Camille, we love you dearly. Condolences may be addressed at: www.heritagefh.ca
