Obituary of Alan Neil Skinkle

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of their Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle on Sunday, April 12, 2020, at the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital in Ottawa, ON, at the age of 80. Son of the late Ernest Skinkle and Annie McCubbin. Predeceased by his loving wife Lois Skinkle (MacInnis). Survived by his sons Michael (Nicola) and Jeff (Jennifer), daughter Lisa, six grandchildren : Brittany, Skylar, Taylor, Emily, Hannah and Logan and great-grandchildren Millie, Ella and Greyson. Also survived by his sister Linda Martinell and brothers : Owen, Randy, Brian and Larry. Andy was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Mounted police for thirty-five years and will be fondly remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of his family, his sense of humour, his warmth and generosity and his many colourful stories. Special thank you to the wonderful nurses, doctors and staff at the Ottawa General Hospital (Civic Campus) and the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital. Thank you for all the beautiful memories that we each will carry in our hearts forever.
