Obituary of Maurice Langevin

C’est avec tristesse que nous vous annonçons le départ de Maurice à l'âge de 71 ans, le lundi 24 février. Il était retiré du Centre d'accueil Champlain où il a travaillé plus de 30 ans et où il a passé la dernière année de sa vie. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Chantal (Lemay), ses deux enfants Nathalie Lentini (Rob) et Éric (Ashlea), et ses 5 petits-enfants, Nico, Ava, Tristan, Andrew et Samantha. Fils de feu d'Alexandre Langevin et Berthe Marinier (feu Hector), il laisse ses frères et sœurs Françoise (Roland), Robert (feu Claire), Édouard (Hélène), Pierrette (Adrien), Michel (feu Suzanne), Lise (Jacques), Jacques (Anna) et Claire (Mario). Il fut prédécédé par ses frères Jean, Pierre (Pierrette), Paul (Diane) et sa soeur Rosette. Il laisse également sa belle-mère Yolande Lemay (feu Rhéal), ses belles-sœurs et beaux-frères Murielle Warbis (Earl), Roxanne Marcil (Paul) et Marc ainsi que de nombreux neveux /nièces et ami(e)s. La famille tient à remercier le personnel du Centre d'accueil Champlain, le Dr. Luc Duchesne et le Dr. Véronique Duchesne pour leurs soins exceptionnels et leur soutien. La cérémonie religieuse en présence des cendres aura lieu au Complexe Funéraire Héritage. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Maurice at the age of 71 on February 24th. He retired from a 30+ year career at the Centre d'accueil Champlain where he also lived during the last year of his life. He leaves behind his wife, Chantal (Lemay), his 2 children Nathalie Lentini (Rob) and Éric (Ashlea), and his 5 grand-children, Nico, Ava, Tristan, Andrew and Samantha. Son of the late Alexandre Langevin and Berthe Marinier (late Hector), he leaves behind his brothers and sisters Françoise (Roland), Robert (late Claire), Édouard (Hélène), Pierrette (Adrien), Michel (late Suzanne), Lise (Jacques), Jacques (Anna) et Claire (Mario). He was predeceased by his brothers Jean, Pierre (Pierrette), Paul (Diane) and his sister Rosette. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Yolande Lemay (late Rhéal), his brothers and sisters-in-law Murielle Warbis (Earl), Roxanne Marcil (Paul) and Marc. He will also be missed by many nieces/nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Centre d'accueil Champlain, Dr. Luc Duchesne and Dr. Véronique Duchesne for their exceptional care and support. A religious service in presence of his ashes will be held at the Heritage Funeral Complex.
