My very first friend in the GoC over 24 years ago. Lyne was there for me whenever I needed a friend. She was ever loving and non judgemental. Seeing her fight so hard the last 7 years makes me not believe that she's gone. We had a lot of good times including the boys and her parents. I'm fortunate to have been in her life all of these years. She was a true gift.
My deepest sympathies to family, friends and all who loved her.

Nos plus sincere condolences. J'ai connue Lyne au badminton. Lyne etais une belle personne toute souriante et positive. Jai eu la chance de la voire avec ces enfants quands elle les amenais au badminton meme quands elle etais malades. Elle etais un modele sur tous les fronts. Un ange sur la terre qui ns quide maintenats du ciel. Repose tois lyne, ton travails est accomplies.

I played badminton with Lyne for many years; until we moved to PEI in 2017.
In the summer of 2018 she paid us a visit on PEI. We had a great time catching up; I will always remember that day.

Lyne and I shared wonderful moments for over 25 years!
We met at Transport Canda and our friendship began. Our ritual of taking each other out for our Birthdays gave us each the time to catch up, sometimes joyful moments, others sad. She was a fighter, never felt sorry for herself and never gave up. Her family was everything to her. She never stopped talking about them. She was so proud of her 2 boys and how they were growing up into wonderful young men. I will miss you dear Lyne and it was an hounour to be your friend. Rest in Peace!

My condolences to the Valiquette family. Lyne and I went through high school together in Borden and Orleans. We enjoyed many sports, laughs and teen friendships. I will always remember her fondly and her passion for badminton and her motorcycle! May her weary body find peace now. She will be missed.

Lyne and I were the best of friends! We met working at Transport Canada, we even became roommates at one time. Along with another very good friend of mine, we traveled to Las Vegas. We both started having health issues and it brought us even closer. Lyne’s positive outlook on life gave me hope. She was always there for me as a confident, a spiritual guide and a good listener. Lyne was a very good friend. We golfed together, skied together, kayaked together and enjoyed each other’s company. She was such a pleasant and positive person. She was a very caring mom who loved her sons Maxwell and William deeply. She will always hold a very special place in my heart. My condolences to her brothers Den and Joey and to her loving parents, Jean and Yvette as well as to her extended family. God bless her. She has earned her wings.

My sympathies to the family. I got to know Lyne at Transport Canada. She always had a smile. Such a nice woman. We spoke often and learned that her father was a Military Policeman whom I knew while serving at CFB Bagotville. Such a tragic loss at such a young age.

Dear family and friends of Lyne,
I worked with Lyne at Transport Canada. She was always smiling, always professional, always happy to see me, always got the job done!!!!! I haven't seen Lyne since she first received the diagnosis of her first cancer 7 years ago but I will never forget her. RIP Lyne.
