Obituary of Ronald Stephen Ford

 

Ron passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Dianne. Cherished father of Darren (Victoria), Michael (Karine), Jarrett (Tammy) and Elysia (Nathaniel) and grandfather of Madison. Survived by his brother Terry (Grace), his siblings-in-law Janet (Bob) Booren, Emily Pittfield, Brian (Elise) Pelletier, Nancy Esarte (Dell), Catherine Keough, Robert (Ronnie) Pelletier and Andrea (Bruce) Fraser. An uncle to many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Predeceased by his parents Edith Frost and William Ford, and his brothers-in-law Eusebio Esarte and Andrew Keough.  Ron found his passion in retirement in the arts, creating numerous beautiful landscapes and portraits. He loved to golf, curl, and ski. He was a proud long standing member of the Queenswood Baseball Association since 1982. Friends and family are invited to visit the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., with a celebration of life to begin at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Orleans Food Bank.
