Obituary of Cécile Fortier
C’est avec tristesse que nous partageons le décès de Cécile Fortier (née Bazinet), le 29 avril 2019 au Manoir Laurier à l’âge de 84 ans.
Elle était la fille de feu Joseph Bazinet et de feu Clara Godard. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux bien-aimé Reynald ; ses enfants : Francine, feu Nicole, Daniel (Carole), Lorraine (Richard), Jean Paul et Luc (Cindy) ; ses petits-enfants : Valérie, Manon, Josée, Tania, Matthew, Pascal, Zachary et ses deux arrière-petits-enfants : Camille et Sébastien. Elle laisse également ses frères et sœurs : Aurélia, S.S.C.J., Dolores Castonguay (Hervé), Lionel (feu Jeannine) Marie-Jeanne Piché (Marcel), Pauline, S.S.C.J., Gabrielle Gour (Claude), Françoise Lafrance (Ronald), Louise Hacquard (Hector), Florian (Lucie) Rhéal (Debbie), Aurel (Diane), Rosaire (Rita), François (Colette), ainsi que ses beaux-frères : René (Gabrielle Labrèche) et Paul (Carole Goulet).
Elle fut prédécédée par ses frères et sœurs : Liliane (feu Fernand Laflèche et feu Léo Lalonde), Ernest (Jeannine), Germaine, Léo (Aline) et Monique, ainsi que ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs : Rolland, Rhéo, Annette (feu Réal Brisson), Emery (Cécile Giroux) et Aline Brunet (Denis).
La famille désire remercier le personnel du Manoir Laurier pour les soins et l’attention privilégiée apportée à notre mère tout au long de son séjour.
La famille recevra parents et amis au Complexe funéraire Héritage, 1250, ch. Trim, Orléans le jeudi 9 mai 2019 de 18h à 21h. La messe des funérailles aura lieu à l’Église Saint-Joseph, 2757, boul. St-Joseph, Orléans, le vendredi 10 mai 2019 à 10h, suivie d’une réception.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cécile Fortier (nee Bazinet) at Laurier Manor, on April 29th, 2019, at the age of 84.
Daughter of the late Joseph Bazinet and the late Clara Godard. Beloved wife of Reynald Fortier. Loving mother of Francine, the late Nicole, Daniel (Carole), Lorraine (Richard), Jean Paul and Luc (Cindy). Cherished grandmother of Valérie, Manon, Josée, Tania, Matthew, Pascal, Zachary and great-grandmother of Camille and Sébastien. She will also be sadly missed by her siblings : Aurélia, S.S.C.J., Dolores Castonguay (Hervé), Lionel (the late Jeannine), Marie-Jeanne Piché (Marcel), Pauline, S.S.C.J., Gabrielle Gour (Claude), Françoise Lafrance (Ronald), Louise Hacquard (Hector), Florian (Lucie) Rhéal (Debbie), Aurel (Diane), Rosaire (Rita) and François (Colette) ; her brothers-in-law : René (Gabrielle Labrèche) and Paul (Carole Goulet).
Predeceased by her siblings Liliane (the late Fernand Laflèche and the late Léo Lalonde), Ernest (Jeannine), Germaine, Léo (Aline) and Monique ; her siblings-in-law : Rolland, Rhéo, Annette (the late Réal Brisson), Emery (Cécile Giroux) and Aline Brunet (Denis).

Relatives and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Thursday, May 9th, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Joseph Church, 2757 St-Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Friday, May 10th, 2019 at 10 a.m., followed by a reception
