Dear Carlos
May you be comforted in the knowledge that our dear Monica is at peace in the loving arms of our Father. I loved her so dearly during the brief time I knew her. She was a very strong and faithful person. Throughout her ordeal, she always believed and never gave up. The last time I saw her was at the CTU with Randy and you were with Monica. The love that you have for each other was clear to see.
I grieve my friend’s passing away but I celebrate her the beauty of her life.

It was a priviledge to have known Monica through her connection to Annunciation of the Lord parish these past several years.
I'm so sorry for your loss and that of your whole family and anyone who knew Monica. She was truly an angel.

Carlos, we mourn and feel your loss because we truly lost one of the most beautiful and wonderful person we have ever known.
Our families share a very special bond. I was the ring bearer at your mom and dad's wedding. My son Brandon was the ring bearer to Monica's and your wedding.
I am not sure if you remember this event from a few years past when my mom was still with us. Mass finished just after 12:00 noon on a Sunday and the entire congregation was standing inside the entrance of the church because it was raining so hard. My mom's impatience (due to her dementia) was starting to show and Monica must have noticed this because without hesitation, she ran to your car and returned soaking wet after retrieving an umbrella for my mom and I. She then walked my mom and I to our car not caring about herself getting drenched.
Carlos, that is why God took Monica; He needed more angels in heaven and she is now one of them. Despite the tears that we shed, together let us find comfort in knowing that.

My deepest condolences to you Carlos and Michelle. It is so heartbreaking that we lost the most strongest, bravest, great fighter i have ever known.
