Nearly 24 years of friendship can't be easily forgotten. Jean was younger than I actually am when we first connected those years ago. Since being not so far neighbors, Jean was part of our extended family. His birthdays and mine were celebrated steadily by each other. Jean needed me many times in time of small distress and I gladly oblige as we were so close to each other. We dine together with family, we worked together although he would be more like the observer at times. I would call him The Noble or The Honorable Jean. He loves to tease but he had a big heart. This is this heart of his that found his long time love back again with Lise in his final years. There would not be a month without us seeing each other even if most was to help him in some ways. Taking care of his fish, to do many chores in and around his home, and in the end having Pasler (his preferred son of mine) helping me to bring him to his bed so he could rest. Lise kept him going on longer because of that burning Love till the very end. A talented friend in so many ways. You'd have quite a thick book writing about his adventurous but fulfilled life.
