Obituary of Alex Manuel
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of “The man, The myth, The legend”. Alex Manuel died September 1, 2018 on his 38th birthday.
He was and always will be the beloved son of Joan Manuel. He leaves behind to mourn his adored Godchildren Taylor, Jade and Matthew.
Alex will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of humbleness, love and kindness. He was a modest, respectful person who enjoyed helping others. He always found time for his friends no matter how hectic and chaotic life got. He believed in finding joy and beauty in the simplest of things. Alex will always be remembered for his one of a kind personality.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Heritage Funeral Complex (1250 Trim Road, Orleans) on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 1 pm. to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 8 pm and as well on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 11 am. to 1 pm. A Celebration of Alex life will be held in the Heritage Funeral Complex Chapel on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 1 pm followed by a reception at Dooly’s Pool Hall (2277 Gladwin Crest., Ottawa) at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
