Ann, Gerry, Audrey, Claude and Alex.
My sympathy to you all. There goes my best friend.
I got to know Annette about 50 years ago and during the past 10 to 12 years we had lots of fun travelling to Renfrew, Smiths Falls, Merrickville, Kemptville, Osgoode, Cumberland and Rockland checking out all the restaujrants. We got to know where the best desserts were.
I got her interested in hockey and baseball a few years ago and she became a big Senators and Blue Jays fan.
I will miss her very much.

For more than 50 years, Annette called our Mom, Mrs. Mac. This salutation might have some thinking the two weren't friends. Nothing could be further from the truth. Mom and Annette were close. It started in the 60s back in Cardinal Heights ~ hairdos, shopping trips, coffee and chatting. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
It continued when both our families moved to the Blackburn area. They would always be visiting together and harder to believe, spent even more time on the phone... we never knew how they could talk so much! Visiting and chatting. Visiting and chatting. Oh, how they chatted.
Annette, Woodrow and their family became part of ours - there for each other when Woodrow passed, when Dad passed and even after Mom passed... the visits and chatting never stopped. We shared visits and phone calls (albeit not as long as Annette's and Mom's).
We loved Annette and she will be missed. Ann, Audrey our deepest condolences to you both and to your families. We know how proud she was of you all.

I had the great pleasure of getting to know Ann just in the last few years. I meet her at the knitting group in Navan. She would come into the group in a whirlwind carrying her "Mary Poppins" bag of various knitting projects she had going. Always dressed so well and of course, fabulous shoes.
I had the pleasure of visiting her weekly where we would knit and chat She loved to watch the Young and the restless and would fill me in on all the characters and The talk and the Social were the shows we would watch together and critic the shoes and fashion.
She always had a hug for me and she had such a great sense of humor and a super outlook of life.
I will miss her terribly and now when I pick up my knitting projects, I will think of my dear friend Ann,
