For the past several years, we have been blessed to visit Lorraine and Don on a regular basis from a nearby Parish. Visits with Lorraine were always warm and loving and filled with her strong faith. Although her chats did decline over the last years, she was always moved and responded with big smiles or tears of joy when her children and grandchildren were mentioned. You were all so devoted to her - and her to you.
Sincerest condolences are offered to the whole family but a special note of admiration to Don who was with Lorraine daily. Don, your love and commitment to Lorraine that we witnessed over the past few years was inspirational and we hold you in the highest esteem and hope your grief will be lightened and that you will find peace in your beautiful painting and music.
Blessings to you all.
Jennifer (Pastoral Care, Divine Infant Catholic Church, Orleans, Ontario)

Dear Don and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing away of our dear Lorraine. I have many fond memories of our Pastoral Care visits with her in Cumberland and Sarsfield, sharing with her, among other things, East European culinary delights we had in common. I pray that you will bear this loss with serenity, patience and peace.
Eternal rest, grant unto her O Lord
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace.

Dear Lorraine,
Thank you for being a wonderful, caring mother, and thank your for teaching Anne Lorraine so many wonderful and important life lessons. Anne Lorraine is the most precious thing in the world to me - ultimately she is a gift to all of us from you and Don.
Lorraine, I will always think warmly and lovingly of you as I am fortunate to touch one of your many creations several times a day - creations like the most wonderful boxer shorts any guy has ever had the luxury to wear. I always looked forward to your care packages with those shorts in them, not to mention birthdays and Christmas presents.
Your talent didn't end there. You made the most intricate coasters I've ever seen. They can even be fitted (easily, I must add) to any tall stemmed glass, not to mention your stunning place mats and many other fine creations.
Your quirky sense of humour was always a delight to me, and it was especially wonderful to get to know you better when you and Don visited Anne Lorraine and I in the Yukon.
Lorraine, you will always be in my heart. I will always cherish your spiritual presence.
Thank you!
Love and gratitude,
Steve
