Obituary of Joseph Robert "Jerry" Meagher

It is with great sadness that we advise that Jerry peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, February 7th, 2018. After being diagnosed with Leukemia in December 2017, it was truly important to Jerry that his final days be spent at home with family. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years Marguerite (Barnabė), his 3 children, Nicole, Mark and Michael (Mona Zakaib) and his 3 treasured grandchildren Ryan, Jordan and Malaya. Dear brother of the late Carl (Irene Bouliane), Ronnie, Teresa, Diane (Mike Cyr) and Leo (Mariette Huneault). He will also be missed by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law (Barnabé) as well as his nieces and nephews that he loved very much. His memory will go on by a great many colleagues from the City of Ottawa (Surveyors Section) with whom he spent 42 years working with and building meaningful friendships that he cherished. Celebration of Life service to be held at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orleans, on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 at 6 p.m., followed by a reception for friends and family. **No flowers please.
