We're so saddened by Bob's passing. Noone can replace his warmth, sense of hijinx and caring to all those around him. Light-hearted and fun, Bob's presence in the neighborhood was more than felt -it was active and seeking. Bob was never too busy for anyone who needed help, with anything and everything - a true everyman with knowledge and skills of all sorts. Bob always gave of himself, in the most pure, unselfish way because he was a helper, a kind soul. The kind Mr Rogers tells us about. Bob gave his time, energy and love to all those around him, never once looking for a 'return' or a compensation. Bob understood friendship and loyalty, compassion and understanding - giving of himself to a friend who had long been forgotten and discarded by others. There's simpy no way to describe the hole that's been created by Bob's passing. He touched so many lives, helped so many people over all these years. We're indebted and have no way to repay him for all he's done. Knowing Bob, he'd say something really fast in French, then "don't worry about it" then ask if we want a beer with a big smile on his face.... We love you, Bob and hope you're having beers with all the people you love already there. We'll always cherish our memories and especially our special visit. Our hearts go out to his family at this time and hope their sorrow will be buoyed by the love of life Bob shared with everyone he encountered. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-q_Y5Hgb2bjg/UXBINxDiBsI/AAAAAAAAE8U/_Smw_SLezJw/s1600/Look+for+the+helpers.jpg Rest In Power, Bob. <3 Tina & Andrew

Aurevoir M. Bob ??

My deepest condolences to Helene and family. For the past 5 years I had the privilege to work with Bob driving school buses and being lunch monitors at Ecole Alain Fortin in Orleans. At school he helped out every Friday with Pizza Day. He liked to entertain the kids by playing soccer, football, tag and hockey with them and they loved it. Bob was known as Sponge Bob, Bob the builder and Monsieur Bob. He was my best friend. I will miss him a lot and I shall never forget him.

Helen and family. I was very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I replaced Bob on the school bus run. Bob was a good bus driver and some of the kids asked about him many times. Please accept my deepest sympathy and I sincerely hope you find the strength to move forward from here.

Dear Helene and family, We are so sorry to hear about Bob\'s passing. We will remember him as a nice,fun-loving man and a good neighbour. I watched him mow/snowblow both his own property, as well as his neighbour\'s. He was always the first person in the neighbourhood to jump into his pool when the water was still really cold, which always made us laugh cause we could hear the shocked squeals he made when he hit the water! Our neighbourhood won\'t be the same without him. Please let Tim and I know if we can do anything for you. Your neighbours, Kim and Tim.
