Obituary of John Patrick MacPhee

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Patrick on January 7, 2018.  He leaves behind Irene, his partner and wife of 57 years.  Devoted father to daughters Carole (Don Gaudes), Colleen (Scott Watson) and Diane (Gary Chliszczyk).  Cherished Papa to Alexandra (Greg), Stewart, Patrick and Garrett.  Survived by sisters Jean, Teresa, Viola, Frances, Margaret and brother Steve, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by sister Flora, and his parents John and Agnes MacPhee. Thank you to his devoted care-giver Nina and his faithful visitors Paul, Fred and David.  Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be returned to Cape Breton, his birthplace.  Funeral Mass to be held at Good Shepherd Parish, Blackburn Hamlet on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. Celebration of Patrick's life to follow in the church hall.
