I will always remember a man with a hundred jokes and the accents to go along with them. I have known Dave and Bobbie for 48 years though things in life changes, the Flower's family are always in my heart. They put themselves out to welcome me into their home and cottage. From the bottom of my heart, I am glad we met. Now when I look to the sky, I will know You will be telling someone in heaven a joke or two even with that little laugh you someone came out with. To Bobbie and family, My thought are with you.....Bless you..........Richard

Dear Bobbie and family. We share in your sorrow caused by the loss of such a great guy as Dave. We had the pleasure of knowing him mainly in social ways at church and over meals. Dave always added to the life of the occasion with his friendly smile and this many stories. Our breakfast group will be missing a special ingredient. But our loss is nothing in comparison to yours - husband, father, grandfather, friend. Bobbie, we look forward to seeing you soon. Our prayerful thoughts are with you. Bill and Lynda

When we heard this very sad news, we spent the evening reminiscing about times gone by when we were neighbors living next door to Dave and Bobbie. Every thought and memory included some of Dave's stories full of passion and life in the way he told them to us. We remember Dave as a happy positive influence on so many peoples lives, us included! He always had a song in his heart and a smile on his face and a good joke to tell. He will be missed deeply. We are very saddened by this news. Walk with God my friend. Mark and Bonnie Adams

My deepest sympathies and condolences to Bobbie, Kirsten, Perry, Cassie, Ryan and the rest of the family on the loss of a wonderful human being. I enjoyed the times Dave and I spent at the rink discussing our families, careers, spy novels and cheering on our grandkids. Our hearts are heavy with Dave's passing; the world a poorer place but anyone who came in contact with Dave left with a little piece of him. I will cherish this forever. Rest in peace my friend.

Hearts are heavy today. I have great memories of university days living across the street on Kintyre Private. He looked after all of Holly's friends and watched out for us. I was lucky enough to work with him at MetLife as well where he was always supportive and helpful. He had all the patience in the world for any of his children's friends and gave the best advise and always without judgement. Heaven has certainly gained a wonderful angel this week.

Too close to home this is. The news hit us hard because Dave and Bobbie will forever be anchors in our book of kids hockey memories. Kirsty and Perry we knew one another due to the birth of our children and their developing bonds. Our hearts are broken because of this, but Dave's life, love and genuine passion towards the kids is what we will remember and because of that, we will heal because Dave provided an abundance of love and respect for everyone! Our kids sports will have a big void without his presence but his Lovable person will forever be held in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace dear Dave, #1 fan, Grandfather, Dad, Husband, Friend. We love you forever. Love Tim, Lee-Anne, Chad and Matthew MacPherson#84 Cumberland Grads xoxoxo
