Roxane, la petite fille que j'ai vue grandir toujours avec ce beau sourire. Si pleine de vie et d'enthousiasme pour devenir cette belle jeune femme toujours avec le même sourire et le même enthousiasme. Quand l'épreuve a frappé tu n'as jamais baissé les bras, toujours avec ce fameux sourire et cette joie de vivre auxquels tu as ajouté le courage et la détermination. Je t’entend encore dire « la vie est trop courte, il faut vivre pleinement ce qu’elle nous offre un jour à la fois » . Quel exemple de courage tu nous a donné. Tu auras toujours ta place dans mon cœur, maintenant tu peux te reposer.

My heartfelt condoleances to the Cantin and Zitto families. Roxanne and I were colleagues and friends. In 2011, we became partners in crime while each going thru our own similar health battle. We even had surgery on the same day. We encouraged each others, and shared updates on our progress. I will miss our chats sister... I just heard the sad news this afternoon that one of my favorite colleagues in the CRA has joined another team in heaven. The Creator has taken you much to soon Roxanne. You are a beautiful soul. Although we haven't worked on the same team in a few years, I have such fond memories of the laughs and conversations we had. You brought much knowledge, insight, intellect and expertise to any conversation and/or team. I am quite sure you will be missed by many. I know I will miss you. I wish you well on your next journey. C\'est avec beaucoup de peine et de tristesse que j\'ai appris ce matin le décès de Roxane. Je l\'ai connu il y a quelques années passées lorsqu\'elle a joint les rangs de l\'équipe pour laquelle je travaillais et j\'ai eu le plaisir de travailler de près avec elle pendant quelque temps avant qu\'elle ne soit malade. Elle était belle, toujours souriante, serviable, sociable et tout le monde aimait Roxane. C\'était vraiment une merveilleuse personne. Amoureuse de son conjoint Craig, ils avaient \'eu\' ensemble Pepito dont elle nous parlait beaucoup avec plaisir et tendresse. On aurait aimé te voir plus souvent ces derniers temps lors de nos dîners ou cafés entre anciens camarades de travail mais on comprenait que tes forces ne te le permettaient pas. On espérait que tu te rétablisses et puisses nous joindre à nouveau bientôt. C\'est triste que la maladie puisse nous arracher la vie à un si jeune âge. Je penserai souvent à toi Roxane. Je suis content de t\'avoir connu. Toutes mes plus sincères condoléances à Craig et ta famille.

I only met this precious, sweet soul once in person when myself and my husband, Stewart drove to Canada from Texas for vacation to see Sonja and Stefan Dumas and to meet Roxanne, and Donna and Marcel Neron. However, me and Roxanne had become great friends for several years on FB and had many great interactions. Witty and so friendly, we shared our love for our dogs. I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Roxane - a great fear turned into reality. I met Roxane through the myeloma community (my mother is also a patient), and even though she was fighting her own tough battle, she was there for me; she was helping me be courageous through her courage, she was helping me be hopeful through her positivity; and she was just such an awesome person! I will miss her. My deepest sympathies are with Roxane's family and friends.
