I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man extremely dear to my heart. He will always be cherished in the hearts and minds of all he touched. From the genuine smile to the warm hugs, he was always there with open arms. He will be missed but, I can only pray we will one day see him again.

Back in June last year I had the cherished opportunity to meet Shwan and get to know a few bits about him. I remember well the time while he was staying for the FKTP Project together with all the other guys from Ottawa Fire Service and other Fire Departments in Frankfurt. And nothing better could describe him as a gentle Giant with a quick wit. Thats how he impressed me and the kindness shining through. It is rare that I find myself comfortable in the presence of a stranger as Shwan was in that days as we just had the oportunity to exchange some thoughts and ideas. And yet with those few sentences he was able to leave a special impression on me Mere Words can seem so inadequate when trying to offer support and condolences. That´s how I feel right now. Please accept my deep sympathy and condolences about your loss. Godspeed Brother Shawn

When I met Shawn, I met his genuine smile. I met his hug and you could see his heart. Our Condolence to his family and his closest friends.
