Francine, Andrew and Sarah, I have had the honor of being a part of your life when Ray was off on sick leave. I had a some good visits with the both of you, some laughing and some tearful ones. I will always treasure those times. Ray, I have had the joy of working with you for the past 18years. You kept me under your wing and taught me the Carleton way. You always had a joke to tell, very pleasant to be around, helped out in any way you could. You will be and are missed daily. Rest in peace my work buddy. Donna

My deepest condolences to the Stone Family. Ray was a wonderful person and I was very sad to hear of his passing. Regrets on not being able to attend today's service. When I first started working at Carleton, some 19 plus years ago, Ray would always stop in to the Copy Shop at the Unicentre. I was a also student back then, but that didn't matter to Ray. He was always so friendly, welcoming, and inclusive. We always had a good chat and laugh together. Rest in peace Ray. You'll be missed. Stephen Gormley

Sadly, I didn't get to work much with Ray prior to his illness. I remember Ray as the friendly guy in stores who waved hello every morning and was kind enough to glue my shoe when a strap broke. The staff here at Carleton who had the pleasure of working with him speak of him fondly, He was highly respected by all and will be missed. My condolences for your loss.
