My aunt Rhea was an amazing woman. Always organized and ready to receive visitors and family at a drop of the hat. She spoiled me many times, in terms of feeding me when I was a hungry student living in residence at Ottawa University. She used to cook the best chicken breasts, fried rice and veggies. The chicken breasts were huge, almost as big as turkey breasts! I used to tease her about her having some secret chicken coop with giant chickens! Then there were the desserts - one was not enough - she insisted you had to have two pieces of homemade pie! Luckily for my figure, I only visited once every 2 months back then! She was a year younger than my father, Palma, and maybe that is why she loved him dearly and would spoil him too when he visited. Rhea was unique and special - not too many out there with her enthusiasm for life.
