This week I am very saddened to hear of the loss of a super man. I have enjoyed doing business with Denis for over 15 years. He was always laughing and smiling. Considerate and smart are just some of words that describe him. I used to enjoy watching him answer the phone and do a quick drawing of what his customer needed. My thoughts are with his family at this time of loss. Ride on Denis.

I just found out today the sudden passing of Den.SHOCK!! I've known Denis for a long time he was the kindest guy you could meet, many memories of long conversation with him. He will definitely be missed and irreplaceable. To is Son and the Martin Family my sincere condoleances in these hard times,he left us way to early. RIP Den.

Our sincere condolences to the Martin family.. his dear son Vincent,his lovely sister Claire and his brothers and his dear friends and loved ones, It is with heavy heart that I'm writing this...last seen Denis in spring 2014 he looked great and was so so happy!!Life is just not fair sometimes.Denis was an awesome friend.Will always cherish beautiful ornament he gave us when he came for dinner Xmas day 2013.Even though we lived a distance apart Denis always made a point to visit and keep in touch..many good laughs and special times,a classy happy go lucky guy and always positive.We were very lucky to have him as a friend will miss his surprise visits that brought smiles to our faces as he rode up our laneway...the ones we love are never gone for they live within our hearts xo

My heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and coworkers. I did not know Denis very well, but would chat with him at the Tim's in the morning. Denis was always part of our family. We loved having him over for the holidays and just for any excuse (as he would say). Denis was courageous, witty, intelligent and very loveable. He was always smiling even when life got him down. He could always find the silver lining to every grey cloud. He graciously stood for us at our wedding and we wouldn't have had anyone else. We love him dearly. This loss is both unbelievable and unbearable at times, now its our turn to stand for you and your memory. Andre and I will miss you terribly. This loss is breaking our hearts. December 28, 2015 I am Sad to see there was No mention in the papers of his passing, or that Denis Martin and his staff, carried DM Metals through thin years to prosperity. I personally like to thank the boys in the shop for years of dedicated, professional work. Kirk, Claude Steve and Joey have been the backbone in the shop and deserve a pat on the back for all the hard work. I don’t know the protocol. I am the EX.. the other half of the torn photo. I feel the same grief, anger, displacement and loss as you do. My favourite memory of Denis and Vincent was Christmas in Wisconsin with my blended family and how they enjoyed shooting paint cans with my late brother David. Every year I try to pull together the tatters of a family because it is Christmas. And every year, more of those faces fade from loss. Never forget the extent of kindness, love and concern that comes from the hearts of those who sit behind you, even if it was in the past, or from an Ex.
