You are still in my heart Jo. Miss you every day.You now have our dear Christine with you, your mentor, dear friend, who guided you and me through your journey ,in the world of the hearing impaired. She was a blessing, and also introduced us to Monica Elaine, and they both became our best of friends.

Chers Rob, tante Jacqueline et oncle Jean-Pierre et Paul, Nous avons appris avec tristesse le décès de Joanne. Personne ne peux imaginer ce que c\'est de perdre son enfant, et sa soeur, donc vous avez tellement de souvenirs. Des premiers balbutiements aux premiers pas et la découverte et le développement d\'une personne unique, les joies et aussi les épreuves. Et toi Rob, tu as perdu ton amoureuse, ta conjointe, ta compagne et ton amie. Tous les précieux souvenirs que vous avez partagé ne s\'estomperont jamais. Bonjour, Je suis allée au secondaire avec Joanne. J\\\'ai souvenir d\\\'une personne tranquille et aimable. Elle était toujours intéressé aux autres. Lors d\\\'un souper rencontre du secondaire il y a quelques années, j\\\'ai pu constater qu\\\'elle n\\\'avait pas changé, elle était encore toute douce. Toutes mes sympathies à la famille. May I offer sincere condolences to Jackie, and family/friends of Joanne. I was so very pleased to have her (and her Mom) attend my dance class; and very proud of Joanne for joining the dance troupe "Amala", to perform on stage at the 2016 "Shimmy Into Summer" fundraiser for Breast Cancer Action Ottawa. She was a lovely, shining soul, and will be sadly missed by all of us.

My deepest condolences to Robert and all of Joanne's family and friends. I knew Joanne through the cochlear implant support group. She was so friendly and cheerful despite the health challenges she faced. I'll remember the tree ornaments she made for our Christmas lunch this year, and the obvious joy she took from creating them. She'll be missed.

Joanne will be sadly missed by all her nursing co-workers from Carleton Lodge. I will always remember her smile and laugh!
