Obituary of Colette Traversy

Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Richard J. Traversy. Loving mother of Donna, Daniel (Suzanne) and Shawn (Angela). Cherished grandmother of Nakia, Jason, Melissa, Christopher, Alexander, Anita-Mae, Alyza-Joy, Richard-James and great-grandmother of Kayla, Draven, Skyler, Aura, Alyssa, Cole-Tanner, Nylah and Lailah. She will be sadly missed by her sisters: Ginette (Brian Askett) and Rolande Quinlan ; sisters-in-law : Marilyn and Ann (Frank Harris), as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by her brothers: Gilles and Ronald Proulx. Special thanks to Dr. Pierre Soucie, The Cancer Unit at the Ottawa General Hospital, the Palliative Care Unit from Bruyère and the team at Carefor (Odette and Penny). The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd. (corner of Taylor Creek Dr.), Orléans, on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The funeral ceremony will follow in the Heritage Chapel at 1 p.m. For those wishing, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
