My sincere condolences to Mme Desjardins and the family,I have very fond memories of Mr. Desjardins as my vice-principal at Confederation. We truly respected this kind, jovial, wise and fair man. Raymond Desjardins a laissé plein de traces et de souvenirs dans la vie et le cœur des élèves qui ont fréquenté l'École secondaire Confédération à Welland pendant qu'il a été directeur-adjoint puis directeur de l'école. Je me joins à mes collègues de classe et aux communautés francophones de la péninsule du Niagara pour lui dire merci pour tout ce qu'il a fait pour que notre école soit un milieu valorisant à la fois notre formation académique et notre héritage canadien-français. J'offre mes sincères condoléances à la famille et aux concitoyens de monsieur Desjardins. I'd like to offer my condolences to the Desjardins family. Very sad to hear of the passing of a man who had a profound influence on so many. He taught us the "lessons of life" on the basketball court and was a great role model, coach and educator. We were very lucky to have known him. May he rest in peace.

I would like to offer my most sincere condolences to the entire Desjardins family. The years I spent at Confederation were enriched by Mr. Desjardins and his guidance as our Vice-Principal. He was a respected man of wisdom and laughter with a great perspective on life. He was the best coach I ever played for in any sport and learned much from his knowledge and passion for helping his players make a difference on and off the court. It was an honour to have played for him. A great man will be missed.

M. Desjardins was first my high school Principal then my twin sister's Father-in-law for over 35+ years. A kind and gentle man who could light up a room with his humour, stories and distinct quiet laughter. He will be missed by many. Sincere condolences to Mme Desjardins and Family.
