It is with sadness that I say good bye to Mr. Chenier—my father-in-law.
I remember him for his stories about the things, places and people he loved. One of his favourite stories that he loved to tell was about when he met Rollande. He said that he told his friend, that Rollande was going to be his wife—that they were going to get married. Talk about love at first sight.
He loved camping with Rollande and friends so much that they travelled and camped all across the country, to Vancouver Island.
I send my condolences to all in the Chenier family, but most of all, to gentle Rollande. May time raise the sweet memories, and calm the sadness in your heart, so that those thoughts comfort you more and more till the end of time.
