Obituary of Yvon Lapierre

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to the pillar of our family, commonly known as, Minne, Trésor, Dad, Grandpa, Great-Gradpa, Jed or Fred. This man was the kindest loving soul you could ever meet. We are all so fortunate to have been loved by this angel! He leaves behind his loving wife Murielle (Trésor), his children Chantal (Stéphane), Jared (Caroline), Johanne (Dave), Sylvie (Tom), Yves, and Mike ; his 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Jean (Linda) and Claude (the late Theresa), as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by his sons Daniel and Luc ; his siblings Beatrice (Charlie), Hector (Huguette), Jacques (Lucille) and Suzanne (Joey). He will be remembered as a loving human who loved taking care of everyone, specially if he had a grease gun. He had an unforgettable sense of humour and loved life, his old 1950 Ford and his animals. Most of all, he loved and cherished his family! He has gifted all of us so many good memories to last a lifetime. Yvon will be missed by all. Sleep well Grandpa! C'est avec grande tristesse que nous disons au revoir au pilier de notre famille, Minne, trésor, papa, grand-papa, arrière-grand-papa, Jed ou Fred. Cet homme avec l’âme aimante et gentille. Nous sommes tous si chanceux d'avoir été aimés par cet ange! Il laisse dans le deuil sa tendre épouse Murielle (Trésor), ses enfants Chantal (Stéphane), Jared (Caroline), Johanne (Dave), Sylvie (Tom), Yves et Mike; ses 12 petits-enfants et 11 arrière-petits-enfants. Il laisse également dans le deuil ses frères Jean (Linda) et Claude (feu Theresa), ainsi que de nombreux neveux, nièces et amis. Il fut prédécédé par ses fils Daniel et Luc; ses frères et sœurs : Beatrice (Charlie), Hector (Huguette), Jacques (Lucille) et Suzanne (Joey). On se souviendra de lui comme d'un humain aimant qui adorait prendre soin de tout le monde, surtout s'il avait un pistolet graisseur. Il avait un sens d'humour inoubliable et aimait la vie, sa vieille Ford 1950 et ses animaux. Surtout, il aimait et chérissait sa famille!
