Dear Gail, Aaron & Louis,
I remember many, many laughs and stories over many, many cups of tea at Nana's. I remember a pretty cool aunt who, in a lot of ways, showed me how to be an adult woman in a changing time.
Probably my favourite story that Kathy would tell revolved around her family dinners as a child. The family would reminisce about one thing or another, and Kathy would comment "I don't remember that", "I don't remember that either"... One day June turned to her, with all the surety and scorn that only a teenage older sister could muster, and told her "Well of course you don't remember that. You weren't even born then." That messed with her little mind for a while... The first time that she told me that story, I was of the age for it to mess with my little mind for a while too.
