Obituary of Evelyn (Oveline) Marie Allaire (née Potvin)

Peacefully passed away at the Montfort hospital, Ottawa, Ontario on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 85, accompanied by her three children. Daughter of the late Delphis Potvin and the late Florida Cauvier. Loving mother of Suzanne (Raymond), Louise (Michel) and Richard (Joanne). Cherished grandmother of Natalie (Ian), Chantale (David), Christine, Nathanaël (Kayline) and Gabriel (Kaitlynn), and adored great-grandmother of Kaylee, Ashley, Dylan, Amanda, and Kyle. She is survived by her brother Jack (Marylyn) and her sister Claudette (William). Preceded by her sisters Fern, Rita (Meddy), Joan (Ernie) and her brothers Fernand (Anne), Gerry (Mona), Guy (Shirley), Laurier (Carolyn), and Richard (Sue). Evelyn will be missed by several nephews, nieces, and friends. The family would like to thank all the doctors and health care workers at the Montfort Hospital for their care over the last few weeks. Donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. Chère grand-maman de Natalie (Ian), Chantale (David), Christine, Nathanaël (Kayline) et Gabriel (Kaitlynn), arrière-grand-maman adorée de Kaylee, Ashley, Dylan, Amanda et Kyle. Elle laisse dans le deuil son frère Jack (Marylyn) et sa sœur Claudette (William). Précédée par ses sœurs Fern, Rita (Meddy), Joan (Ernie) et ses frères Fernand (Anne), Gerry (Mona), Guy (Shirley), Laurier (Carolyn) et Richard (Sue). Evelyn sera manquée par plusieurs neveux, nièces ainsi que ses amis. La famille tient à remercier tous les médecins et travailleurs de la santé de l'hôpital Montfort pour leurs soins au cours des dernières semaines.
