Obituary of George Holub

George Holub, aged 83, of Orléans, Ontario, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2020 at his home in Orléans. Due to COVID - 19, private visitation will be held at the Heritage Funeral Complex, Orléans on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 1 pm. followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Father Ireneus Prystajecky officiating. Burial expected to take place at Broadview Cemetary, Broadview, Saskatchewan at a later date. Heritage Funeral Complex will be handling the funeral arrangements. George Holub was born in Broadview, Saskatchewan to Wasyl and Mary Holub on June 5, 1937. He attended Broadview High School, the University of Saskatchewan and Carleton University. He worked for UNDE for over 20 years as a Union Director. George is survived by his children Cheri, Crystal, Nicholas, and Peter, their partners Brad, Dennis, Michèle, and Shannon, his grandchildren Mitchell and Megan, Kevin and Lauren, Catherine and Dakota, Katarina (Kai), Mikaela, Natasha, Alexandre, and Charlotte, and his great grandchild Warren. Our family wishes to extend our thanks to everyone who has helped to make our Grandpa's life enjoyable.
