Obituary of Daniel Haines

We regret to announce the death of Daniel Haines on October 4, 2015 at the age of 55 years. The majority of his life, he worked in the mining and forestry sectors. In his spare time, Daniel enjoyed fishing, hunting, four-wheeling and hiking. He will be greatly missed by his spouse, Brenda Martin of Timmins; his children, Christopher (Danica Joly) of Rockland, and Jordan of Ottawa;, one granddaughter, Mélia; and by his siblings: Marlene Leblanc (Stephane) of Geraldton and John of Ottawa. Daniel Haines will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th at St. Patrick’s church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Comme passe-temps, il aimait faire de la pêche, la chasse, aller en véhicule tout terrains, et faire des randonnées pédestres. Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte sa conjointe, Brenda Martin de Timmins; ses enfants: Christopher (Danica Joly) de Rockland et Jordan d’Ottawa; une petite-fille, Mélia; une soeur, Marlene Leblanc (Stephane) de Geraldton; et un frère, John d’Ottawa. Daniel Haines reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette dimanche de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le lundi 12 octobre, en l’église St Patrick à 10h30 avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L’inhumation suivra au cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à une œuvre de bienfaisance de votre choix.
